Tomorrowland — Weekend 2

The world's most elaborately produced electronic music festival — a fairy-tale city built in a Belgian park.

Fri, 24 Jul 2026 De Schorre Recreation Park, Boom 3 days · arrive Thu, 23 Jul 2026

Tomorrowland is held at De Schorre recreational park in Boom, 25km south of Antwerp, Belgium, over two weekends in late July. It is widely considered the world's greatest electronic music festival — not merely for its lineup (which is exceptional), but for the extraordinary production quality of its stages. The main stage (The Mainstage) is rebuilt from scratch each year to a different fantasy theme — entire structures 40+ metres tall, with custom light shows, pyrotechnics, and visual effects that cost tens of millions of euros. The lineup covers the full spectrum of electronic music: techno, house, trance, drum and bass, and big room EDM.

Your 3-day itinerary

1

Arrival & Dreamville Camp Setup

~$120

Morning

Fly into Brussels Airport (BRU)2 hrs$25

Brussels Airport is 35km north of Boom. Take the train to Mechelen (30 min) then the official Tomorrowland shuttle bus (15 min). Alternatively, Antwerp Central Station is 25km from Boom — trains from Brussels to Antwerp take 35 minutes. Book shuttle passes via tomorrowland.com in advance.

💡 The official shuttle bus from Mechelen Station is the smoothest arrival — runs every 15 minutes during peak arrival times and drops directly at the Dreamville camping entrance.

Dreamville camping check-in and setup2 hrs

Dreamville is Tomorrowland's on-site camping village — a proper festival village with themed camping areas, restaurants, supermarkets, and bars. If you have Dreamville camping, set up your tent or glamping accommodation immediately on arrival. Dreamville residents have exclusive access to the grounds and certain stages before general admission.

💡 Dreamville camping is the recommended accommodation — the convenience of on-site living, the communal atmosphere, and the exclusive Dreamville stage are worth the premium over day-trip access.

Afternoon

First entry to Tomorrowland festival grounds3 hrs

The festival grounds open at 12:00. The Mainstage reveal (seeing this year's stage design for the first time in person) is consistently one of the most impressive moments of the weekend — the scale and detail are genuinely astonishing. Spend the first 2 hours exploring the grounds and stage areas.

💡 Take photos of the Mainstage in the afternoon daylight — the detail work is most visible before the sun sets. At night, the lighting transforms the appearance completely.

Tomorrowland stage exploration2 hrs

With 16+ stages across the grounds (Freedom, Core, UNITE, Atmosphere, Reflection, Crystal Garden, and many more), the afternoon is for discovering stage sizes, sound quality, and crowd dynamics before the evening programming begins.

💡 The Core stage is Tomorrowland's best-kept secret — a smaller, underground-focused stage with exceptional sound engineering and a more intimate crowd despite being 5,000 capacity.

Evening

Mainstage first night headline set3 hrs

The Mainstage headliner starts at 22:30 and runs until 01:00. Past headliners include Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Martin Garrix. The full production (lights, pyrotechnics, confetti, lasers) is deployed for the headliner — the most spectacular stage show in electronic music.

💡 The Mainstage crowd is enormous — 80,000 people. For the best experience, arrive 45 minutes before the headliner and position yourself 40–60 metres from the stage where the sound is balanced and the full production is visible.

Where to eat

Dreamville morning marketbreakfast· $12
Festival food marketlunch· $15
Evening festival fooddinner· $18

Dreamville morning market: The Dreamville market serves croissants, waffles, and eggs from 08:00 — proper breakfast before a long festival day.

Festival food market: Tomorrowland's food vendors are curated — Belgian, French, and international options with above-average quality.

2

Full Festival Day — Stage Discovery

~$94

Tomorrowland uses 'Pearl' tokens for all purchases — bought with real currency at top-up stations. The exchange rate is approximately €1 = 1 Pearl. Some items (premium drinks, food) cost 8–15 Pearls. Keep the app open to monitor your balance.

Morning

Dreamville morning and recovery2 hrs

Tomorrowland's main programming doesn't begin until 12:00 — Dreamville residents have the morning to recover, eat properly, and explore the camp. The Dreamville stage has morning shows from 10:00.

Freedom Stage and daytime sets2 hrs

The Freedom Stage (capacity 25,000) is Tomorrowland's second largest. Daytime Freedom sets feature progressive house, trance, and melodic techno — often the most emotionally resonant music of the festival.

Afternoon

Belgian beer area and afternoon browsing1 hr$18

Tomorrowland curates a Belgian beer selection (Duvel, Chimay, Leffe) alongside regular festival drinks. A Belgian waffle with Speculoos and a Duvel is the quintessential Belgian festival combination.

💡 Tomorrowland uses a cashless wristband system — top up at one of the top-up stations before the afternoon rush.

Core Stage or smaller stage deep dive3 hrs

The Core stage (underground, warehouse aesthetic) and the Reflection stage (forest setting) are Tomorrowland's most artistically interesting venues. Saturday afternoon programming here often features the most credible and innovative DJs of the weekend.

Evening

Saturday night Mainstage — peak production3 hrs

Saturday night is widely considered the festival's peak production night — the largest headliner, most elaborate pyrotechnics, and biggest crowd. The Tomorrowland tradition of the 'One World Radio' broadcast means Saturday night sets are often broadcast live globally.

💡 Arrive at the Mainstage area by 21:00 to secure a position — Saturday draws the largest crowd and the front sections fill early.

Where to eat

Dreamville breakfastbreakfast· $12
Festival food courtlunch· $16
Evening food and Belgian waffledinner· $18

Evening food and Belgian waffle: Belgian waffle with chocolate and Speculoos butter — the authentic Belgian experience within the festival.

Final Day & Antwerp Departure

~$89

Morning

Final day programming — Sunday Mainstage4 hrs

Sunday at Tomorrowland features the closing ceremony — a coordinated performance where all stages synchronise and the festival ends with a final Mainstage show and farewell. The closing ceremony has featured Coldplay, Hans Zimmer, and surprise classical music moments in previous years.

💡 The Sunday closing ceremony is one of Tomorrowland's most emotionally impactful moments — make sure you're at the Mainstage for the final hour.

Antwerp Old Town afternoon2.5 hrs$12

Antwerp is 25 minutes from Boom by shuttle and train. The Cathedral of Our Lady (containing Rubens' Descent from the Cross), the Grote Markt square, and the Rubenshuis (Rubens' home and studio) are all within walking distance of Antwerp Central Station.
