Taxi or rideshare to the Strip
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and licensed taxis operate from the designated ground transportation area at arrivals. The Strip is 15–20 min from the airport — the race circuit runs directly through it.
💡 Tip: Most Strip hotels are within the circuit perimeter — you can watch sections of the race from your hotel window or the hotel sidewalk with no ticket.
From Las Vegas city centre to Las Vegas Strip Circuit
The Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit runs through the Las Vegas Strip itself — past the Bellagio, Caesars, MGM Grand, and Sphere. If you are staying on the Strip, you are already within the circuit perimeter. Grandstands are adjacent to casino entrances.
Walking — you are on the circuit
Staying anywhere on the Las Vegas Strip means you are within 200m of the circuit perimeter. The pits and main grandstand are between the Sphere and The LINQ. Walk to your grandstand — no transport needed.
💡 Tip: The Las Vegas Strip shuts its normal vehicle traffic during the race. The city essentially becomes a circuit. Plan food and drinks to be sorted before the road closures begin — they can start 6+ hours before the race.
Race day notes
- ·The Las Vegas Grand Prix starts at 22:00 local time — this is a pure nighttime spectacle under the neon. Temperatures in November drop to 8–15°C after dark — bring warm layers (surprisingly cold for Nevada).
- ·Las Vegas Strip road closures are extensive and begin many hours before the race — if you need to cross from one side of the Strip to the other, plan early.
- ·The Sphere (adjacent to the circuit) displays F1 visuals during race weekend — visible from grandstands.
- ·Casino hotels on the Strip charge enormous premiums for race weekend — book very far in advance or consider off-Strip hotels (Fremont Street area, Henderson) with Uber to the circuit.
